Scania

Human-machine interface for Scania's autonomous vehicles — and a design system to scale it across teams.

Enterprise design for a globally-recognized brand: the interface for operating and managing autonomous vehicles, plus an initial UX strategy and a scalable design-system foundation used across multiple product teams. Scope: UX/UI + strategy (2019–20). A client engagement under BLK LZY.

01The work

A safety-critical interface, built to scale.

I designed the human-machine interface for operating and monitoring autonomous vehicles — a high-stakes context where clarity isn’t a nicety. Alongside the interface I set an initial UX strategy and built a scalable design-system foundation, so multiple product teams could stay consistent as the program grew.

02Scope

Enterprise-scale and recognizable — and honest about the remit.

My scope was UX/UI and strategy within the program — not the whole thing, but a foundation built to scale across teams rather than a one-off screen.
