Centra

I originated an AI-native consumer layer for Canton, the institutional tokenized-asset chain — designed it, built the working prototype against the live ledger myself, and it's now live on Canton mainnet with around 4,000 users onboarded.

Canton is built for institutions and tokenized real-world assets — strong rails that almost nobody outside finance knows exist. Centra is the consumer layer on top: Threads to transact across Canton's protocols from one conversational surface, an Academy that turns newcomers into credible advocates, and Lens, a curated forum that carries the network's story outward. The bet is strategic — an institutional chain still needs a retail leg to distribute its token and earn credibility. I originated it and built the working prototype end to end against the live ledger; a founding partner of Canton saw it and backed building the institutional onboarding path. Built by a small group that spun out of Nibiru, with me as CPO. It's now live on Canton mainnet, with around 4,000 users onboarded.

01The bet

An institutional chain still needs a retail leg — that's the opening.

Canton is built for institutions, big companies, and large infrastructure — and that’s right. But to distribute its token, earn credibility, and get known at all, it needs a retail leg: there are far more people than institutions, and a wide, deep base of holders strengthens the whole network. Almost nobody outside finance knows Canton exists yet — that’s the opening Centra goes after. When I showed it to a founding partner of the Canton Network, they backed it and pushed us to build the institutional onboarding path on top.

02Academy

Education that mints credible advocates, on-chain.

Bite-sized courses graded by AI — open-ended answers included — that mint a soul-bound token to your wallet when you pass, proof of what you’ve learned. Keep going and you progress toward becoming a recognized voice across five Canton tracks like governance and tokenomics. The point isn’t click-through airdrops; it’s educated holders who can actually represent the network and spread the word.

03Lens

A curated forum that keeps the signal true to Canton.

A forum for those graduates — reviews, insight, and analysis, strictly about Canton, not daily-life chatter. Every post is fact- and sentiment-checked, using Claude and Perplexity, so the forum stays rational and uncolored, and anything good is a tap from being shared out to X or Reddit. It’s a catalyst: the network’s story gets made here and carried to the places Canton can’t reach itself.

04Threads

One conversational surface for the whole ecosystem — the part I built first.

Threads came first, carried over from my earliest Heywire idea: do everything from one surface instead of learning a dozen apps. Here it’s Canton’s protocols — the ledger, swaps, staking, lending — behind one conversation. Describe what you want in plain language; Centra routes it across the protocols and your own wallet signs. Every action is approval-gated; Centra never holds keys or funds. It’s the model-agnostic, governance-first thinking showing up in the product itself.

Status: live on Canton mainnet, with around 4,000 users onboarded — Threads, Academy, Lens, and two institutional-onboarding variations, shipped. I built the working prototype end to end against the Canton ledger and APIs; our CTO has since rebuilt it into the company monorepo, following my design and flows, and written the final DAML smart contracts.

Role

CPO — I originated Centra, designed every flow and feature, and built the entire working prototype against the live ledger. As team and department lead I set the vision and the design language; my team finalizes the polish and the external content, and our CTO rebuilt the prototype into the company monorepo and wrote the DAML smart contracts. Centra was built by a small group that spun out of Nibiru; I’m its CPO.
