My first company — I prospected, sold, designed, and shipped web, brand, and marketing for small businesses, end to end.
V2 (2015–19) was a sole proprietorship: web, sound, and graphic design, branding, and marketing for SMBs. I cold-prospected and sold the work myself, teamed with a developer to build it, and ran the design, the project management, and the continuous sales. The whole arc of a business, on my own, before I'd done anything else.

I found the clients, sold the work, designed it, and managed it to delivery, with a developer building alongside me. Doing every part of a business yourself teaches you how the pieces actually fit — which is exactly what lets me lead a product end to end now, instead of from one corner of it.
